Across scales
Across scales, the process begins with observing how materials behave under pressure and change. Fire, saltwater, weathering, tention and chemical reactions are not merely techniques but collaborators in the making of each work. Surfaces in both, art and jewelry, are treated as active landscapes, carrying traces of transformation and accumulation. The goal is to allow each piece to develop its own material identity. Click on the images to trace the texture into the finished piece - can you find it?
